RF testing can be performed to determine if a system is required to boost the first responder radio signals inside the building.awc-sales@advancedwireless.com952.469.5400 | 800.475.5852WANT TO LEARN MORE? CONTACT US TO SCHEDULE A CONSULTATIONTHE CODEThe National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA) and International Fire Code® (IFC) have codes in place to ensure first responder radios work in all parts of a building. Most states have adopted these codes and the local county Fire Marshal or Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) enforce them. Building owners and contractors who do not meet the public safety code run the risk of delaying both the project and Certificate of Occupancy (CO).952.469.5400 I 800.475.5852 I 20809 KENSINGTON BLVD, LAKEVILLE, MN 55044 CELLULARFor the same reasons first responder radios signals are impeded, so are cellular & private radio signals. Talk to an Advanced Wireless Communications representative about designing a system to boost the cellular and/or private radio signals in your building.BEST PRACTICEBuilding owners and contractors are encouraged to plan early. Installing a system to meet code can be costly after walls and ceilings are intact. With a set of floor plans, Advanced Wireless Communications provides a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) to help in the budgetary process. Make your building Code compliant and a SAFE place to work.CALL THE EXPERTSAdvanced Wireless Communications specializes in NFPA and IFC Code compliance to ensure radio signals for first responders work inside new and existing buildings. We coordinate with AHJ’s across the country to identify which code applies and if there are variances to the Code. Further, if it is determined a system is required, AWC will design, furnish, install, optimize, commission, and tests the system all according to Code. Upon completion, we obtain the necessary approvals from the AHJ prior to a CO being issued.
